Symbol Mark & Logo of China-ASEAN Expo is an organic combination of Chinese Hibiscus, the city flower of Nanning, and Nanning Expo Center International, the symbol construction of Nanning city. Its 11 color trips represent the beautiful China and the charming 10 ASEAN countries respectively. Its ocean-like blue theme tone is the embodiment of the seacoast edge of most CAFTA members.

The theme of the symbol mark is "cohesion, burst, and prosperity". "Cohesion" is to cohere hearts and intentions, symbolizing that friends from China and ASEAN countries gathering in Nanning. "Burst" is the blooming Chinese Hibiscus, which embodies the openness and comprehension of the grand event of the China-ASEAN Expo, the unlimited cooperation and development spaces. "Prosperity", the glory and dream paved among the 11 pieces of petals, demonstrates that China and 10 ASEAN countries share the future of mutual prosperity.

 

Mascot

 

The mascot of the China-ASEAN Expo is a lovely, cute and human monkey, whose proto type is the Presbytis Leucocephalus, a rare animal only existed in Guangxi province of China.

With the Chinese name of "Hehe", which means Cooperation, Cohesion and Peace, it also symbolizes "Friendship, Cooperation, Development, Prosperity"-the theme of the China-ASEAN Expo, and its tenet of "Promoting the development of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, sharing the great opportunities of mutual cooperation and development". The image absorbs not only the Chinese and local distinctive culture of Guangxi region, but also combines the diversified racial culture of ASEAN nations.
