Having been paid general attention by ASEAN countries, even the whole world, the China-ASEAN Expo is gradually becoming a hot issue to media institutes. We got information from the Secretariat of China-ASEAN Expo that the Secretariat, in collaboration with over one hundred media in China and ASEAN countries, as well as other countries and regions all over the world, was hatching a plan to form a Coordinating Body for the brand marketing of China-ASEAN Expo, in hope of enhancing the influence of the China-ASEAN Expo and providing better services to the traveling merchants of ASEAN countries.
This coordinating body of brand marketing of China-ASEAN Expo, established as an interacting mechanism conducted to popularize the international exhibition, is composed of main stream media, famous websites and publications of industrial association from ASEAN countries, China, other countries and regions. There are over 20 main stream newspapers- Nanyang Siang Pau, World News, Bao Thuong Mai, ¨C and 30 famous websites from ASEAN countries, as well as 15 Chinese main stream newspapers-International Business Daily, China Trade News, 21st Century Economics, and 35 publications of industrial associations have enthusiastically participated in reporting the Expo of this year, becoming the supporting media of China-ASEAN Expo.
There has established the cooperation between the official website of China-ASEAN Expo (www.caexpo.org) and other official websites of over ten supporting government agents including the Ministry of Commerce of P.R.C and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. What is more, the linkage to the official website of China-ASEAN Expo is also set up on such famous websites in China as alibaba.com, sina.com, globalsources.com, and on 20 more professional websites of different industries which are Machinery, Electric Power, Food Package, Physical Distribution at Seaport, Constructive Material, intended to build an on-line marketing system characterized by high specialty and broader coverage. At present, the Secretariat is seeking for supports from the Ministry of Commerce of P.R.C to set up channels for this Expo on the commercial websites of Chinese Embassies to ASEAN countries.
As one of top ten exhibitions in China, China-ASEAN Expo allies with media institutes, with over one hundred of mass media and professional media doing the same thing simultaneously by focusing on the exhibition and help enterprises improve their brands. Twenty supporting media institutes of ASEAN countries of China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat will release the latest news regarding the 4th China-ASEAN Expo weekly. At the same time, over sixty supporting websites will issue the hot news concerning the 4th China-ASEAN Expo. Besides, the Secretariat will edit and deliver three E-magazines as China-ASEAN Business Daily Express, E-weekly of China-ASEAN Business and China-ASEAN Business Monthly to hundred thousand registered users and potential users by e-mail in order to perform strongly in marketing against the target audience. The marketing network of China-ASEAN Expo, which is composed of newspapers and websites, is characterized by high specialty and broader coverage. Over one hundred of mass media and professional media will strongly popularize the Expo of this year by providing the information at the earliest time to facilitate those enterprises to seize the commercial opportunities and to broaden market.
