Supervision mode and supervision venue for exhibits

Nanning Customs Office adopts a centralized supervision mode towards the exhibits of the Expo, by which all exhibits into or out of China shall be transited through the port, and declared and inspected at the exhibiting site. During the period of the Expo, Nanning Customs Office will set up a temporary supervision zone at Nanning International Convention & Exhibition Center.

Sinotrans Guangxi Company is fully authorized to process the customs clearance and declaration for the exhibits in entry.

The exhibits shall, within 6 months upon their entry, be transported back to their original countries. This duration may be extended if necessary, but the extension may not exceed 6 months.

Upon the close of the Expo, Sinotrans Guangxi Company shall, as the agent, submit the canceling bills and shipment documents to the customs, and process the exit procedures for the exhibits.

For the exhibits not to be transported back, or the exhibits and small commodities to be retained for Sale, they shall be listed and subject to customs declaration. Customs duty Shall be levied upon all the above articles in accordance with relevant laws and regulations, except for those exempted from customs duty according to specific provisions.

Sinotrans Guangxi Company shall be responsible for declaring the exhibits abandoned or presented as gifts with the competent customs office. The customs office concerned will supervise and process the above articles in accordance with relevant provisions.
