The ceremony attendees including Lu Bing, the chairman of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Lan Lijun, the ambassador of Embassy of People’s Republic of China in Indonesia, and the officers and enterprisers of Guangxi delegation in the Chinese section, Indonesian section involves officers of Ministry of Trading, the leaders of Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and some well-known enterprisers.

In his address, Lan emphasized the durative intensive momentum of bilateral trading between China and Indonesia. In general estimate the mutual trading volume would reach 15 billion dollars this year, but he has an optimistic prediction of 20 billion dollars, he said.

From the statistic of Ministry of Commerce of People’s Republic of China, the bilateral trading volume came to 13.48 billion dollar in 2004, up 31.8 pct to the same period of last year, involving 6.26 billion dollars export volume and 7.22 billion dollars import volume, 39.6 pct and 25.7 pct up respectively. In January.2005, the mutual trading volume surge to 1.16 billion dollars and up 49.9 pct to the same period of last year, involving 580 million dollars export volume and 580 million import volume, 73.3 pct and 31.9 pct up respectively.
